The Other Voters
When the Comission on Elections announced that the turnout rate of the overseas absentee voters was less than 20%, I was disappointed but not surprised.

Weeks before the election, I was able to chat with a friend who is now based in Singapore and asked her about the overseas absentee voting in that island-state. My friend said that most Filipinos in Singapore did not vote because they feel that their votes would not be counted. Well, it is a clear sign that people are losing their trust on the Commission on Election and even on our electoral process.
